Marin Independent Journal game report: "Ty Davis and George Johnson each scored 17 points for the College of Marin men’s basketball team, which hung around into the second half before falling 97-82 against Feather River at the Chabot College Tip-Off tournament on Thursday.

Davis also had six assists for the Mariners (1-3). Brandon Barrett added 13 points and six rebounds.

“We were down 46-42 at half,” COM assistant coach De’Undrae Perteete said. “They have one of the top scorers in the state and he was having a good half. They pretty much out-rebounded us — 32-20. Any time you get out-rebounded like that, it’s not going to be a good win.”
