The score was 34-23 in favor Crespi at the half and 49-43 at the conclusion of the third quarter but Berkeley just didn't have an answer for 6-foot-4 De'Anthony Melton (heading to USC) and fell 68-53 last night in Sacramento.
The Yellowjackets actually took a one point lead with four minutes remaining in the third quarter but couldn't maintain.
Senior guard Niles Malone led with 18 points while teammate Sean Spikes totaled 14 points plus eight boards.
