GW 65, San Diego St. 46

To say that San Diego State was 'off' offensively would be an understatement--29% overall shooting and 3-22 from long distance--as the Aztecs fell 65-46 to George Washington in an NIT semifinal matchup in New York City on Tuesday.

Dakarai Allen, aided by going 6-6 at the foul line, led Coach Steve Fisher's guys with 13 points. In 28 minutes, Malik Pope scored two points and grabbed five boards.

Not to jump to any conclusions but, based on his play over the season, Pope should be back for another season.

Now George Washington and Valparaiso will play for the NIT championship on Thursday.
