Falling behind 45-29 after the initial 20 minutes proved too difficult for Washington to overcome as the Huskies fell 93-78 to host San Diego State on Monday in the NIT. Malik Pope posted a 12 rebound, 10 point double-double with Dakarai Allen contributing 10 points for the Aztecs.
Marquese Chriss did foul out for Washington but not before totaling 19 points, four boards and a pair of blocked shots.
