Kenonte Ramsey to the Lone Star State

Contra Costa College Coach Miguel Johnson has announced that 5-foot-11 sophomore Kenonte Ramsey has signed with Texas A&M International (Laredo, Texas). The former DeAnza High backcourter was the second leading scorer on the Comets in 2011-12 at 10.8 points per game.

CC went 9-3 in the Bay Valley Conference this past season, 19-7 overall.

Center Ian (Marin Catholic) Salter just finished his eligibility in Laredo and former Deer Valley and Los Medanos guard Tyree Murray will be a senior come the new season.

TAMI's nickname is the Dustdevils and the squad is headed by Coach Shane Rinner.
