It was the Big West Conference over the Pac-12 on Friday in the Big Dance with Hawaii downing a short-handed California 77-66. For the Rainbow Warriors, Quincy Smith led with 19 points and Roderick Bobbitt tallied 18. Ivan Rabb posted a 13 point, 12 rebound double-double for the Bears.
Besides Tyrone Wallace being out with an injury, Jabari Bird was unable to play.
