What appears on reality television isn't necessary organic

Nate Ford/Facebook: "Today I officially turned down a invitation for Esquire TV to film a reality TV series on the San Francisco Rebels. After serious thought and reading the script I was totally wrong about reality TV this would have caused more drama then ever. In exchange for five minutes of fame and a little money I just couldn't sacrifice. Below is the email from Esquire thanking us:

Nate,

While we at Esquire are saddened that you guys has turn down our offer, I wanted to personally commend you for your values and standards you have set for your program.

Last year when I saw you in Los Angeles I told my producer it was going to be tough to sell this reality show to the San Francisco Rebels.

It's not often that we get turned down for an offer like this but I truly truly commend you for your straightforwardness and direct feedback.

In the end like you said the five minutes of fame could not outweigh the 26 years it has taken to get the respect that the San Francisco Rebels have.

That statement not only tells me that you care about the kids but you will forfeit any amount of money for the integrity and the family like atmosphere for your program.

I want to talk to you further about a more positive feature on your program. I will bring in our Creativity Director to see if we can make something happen.
Keep doing great things and even greater things will happen."
