Wood to Penn

This is quite the accomplished for a community college player: Lassen College 6-foot-4 sophomore Caleb Wood is headed to attend and play at Penn next season.

Corey Evans: "Penn has received a commitment from Lassen CC guard Caleb Wood; he is the son of former NBA guard David Wood."

The younger Wood averaged 23.2 points per game alongside 5.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists. He shot a remarkable 51%, 49% and 85%.

The elder Wood is 6-foot-9 and played at Nevada as well as in the NBA and overseas.
